Further to my 22 Sept post, 'Byker Bop' I have attached a track from the Jeff Hedley LP referred to. This is the only track on the privately recorded album that I don't know the title of. Perhaps there is someone out there, from that era, out who may be able to put a title to it.

This is a good opportunity to say thanks to BSH for their support of the jazz scene in the North East (and beyond) - it's no exaggeration to say that if it wasn't for them many, many fine musicians, bands and projects across a huge cross section of jazz wouldn't be getting reviewed at all, because we're in the "desolate"(!) I've just been listening to the Jeff Hedley track.I can't put a name to it although there are one or two very familiar phrases.Perhaps repeated listening will bring to mind a title.
It really is good stuff,a real collector's item.Is the album cover up to much?

The cover may have some antique value. Plain white front and back with a centrally placed circular hole on both sides to enable the label to be read without removing the disc from the finest quality cardboard sleeve.
