I particularly miss sundays; Ramsey Lewis, Jackie Dankworth, digby thingy, Campbell Burnup, Courtney Pine they all played my kind of music. to make matters worse Humph has retired from Radio Two jazz. Tell ya what Lance, any time you fancy hijacking that boat I'll join you and I'll bring my rare records. I've got 'Buddy Rich Plays Quiet' 'Bunny Berigan Gets Started' 'Miles Davis Plays Maynard Ferguson' - I've even got a Charlie Parker CD without any alternatives takes so what d'ya say?

yes I too miss th sunday afternoons. I used to feast on Benny Green, Alan Dell, Parky, David Jacobs...al gone. Even Sandy Dunleavey on Radio York has been switched...what the heck is it that makes the suits think they know best?

Lance, can you get a spell check on this?!!!I type so fast I make mistakes, and rely on the check!!!

A spell check would take away the spontaneity and spontaneity has always been at the heart of jazz.
You could always consult Mr Webster's Dictionary - they say it's just too marvelous for words.
like glorious, glamorous, and that old standby...amorous?
