Ned Kelly's has had so many good guest musicians playing this week, because of the first ever International military tattoo, http://www.lcsd.gov.hk/CE/ CulturalService/Programme/en/ music/0000038e.html most of them who come in are from the US 7th Fleet Band, great trumpet player by the name of Micheal Bookman, sounds like Clifford Brown at times and a wonderful trombone player called James Bonell, who plays some nice stuff in the style of Kai Winding etc, and from the Royal Australian Navy and trumpet player called Stu, again a good player, so my hands have been full all of this week, reminded me a lot of pre 1997, in Hong Kong, tonight is their last night, so I better get my tin hat out, and prepare for who will turn up tonight...
Colin.
