The Jazz Series (Scottish).

John Taylor has kindly hipped me to some YouTube broadcasts of a Scottish Television jazz series from the early 1980's. Approximately 25 minutes long the five episodes featured George Chisholm and his Gentlemen of  Jazz which included John McLevy on trumpet and a tenor player who looked not unlike Dave Allenby or maybe Al Gay - does anyone know?
Carol Kidd - very young and dark haired, was the resident vocalist and different guests appeared each week (see below).
We could do with a series like that these days.

I can't help with your specific query, but I can tell you a bit more about the programme in general.

There were four series in all, and they're all available on YouTube. Season One was presented by Annie Ross, Season Two by George Chisholm, and Seasons Three and Four by Ronnie Scott.
