This is a good opportunity to say thanks to BSH for their support of the jazz scene in the North East (and beyond) - it's no exaggeration to say that if it wasn't for them many, many fine musicians, bands and projects across a huge cross section of jazz wouldn't be getting reviewed at all, because we're in the "desolate"(!) Whilst BSH attempts to cover as many gigs, festivals and albums as possible, to make the site even more comprehensive we need more 'boots on the ground' to cover the albums seeking review - a large percentage of which never get heard - report on gigs or just to air your views on anything jazz related. Swingin' On The Gate - Humphrey Lyttelton & His Band

This is from a flexi disc that was a free give away with Summer County Margarine in the early to mid 1960's, in the UK, and at the time as a kid I thought this was a great free gift, and if it happened today I would think the same thing.

Thanks Colin. I actually have the very same disc myself. Early '60s yet it isn't in the discographies that I've looked in. Perhaps some Lyttletonian can pin point the date.

Yes Lance, and the line up for the band at the same time, I'm sure we could take a guess, but as you say, a Lyttletonian fan could also give the correct line up, come on chaps, info is needed!!!!
