YES WHAT A MAN. I'M HIS SON AND A ROCK GUITARIST AND WISH I WAS AS OPTIMISTIC AS MY OLD MAN. GOD REST HIS TROM"BONES"
Music of all genré needs guys like your old man - love your last sentence!
I have some Jazz books signed by your late father. I got them from his very good friend Frank Tungate who recently passed on. Frank often used to mention Charlie and what a laugh he was.
Jean Bicknell
My daughter just found this site about Charlie! he was a lifelong friend of mine. It was good to have known him, what a rogue! he must be remembered by thousands of people. I always remember him saying that he got rid of the alcohol in a geriatric sauna! and of course his cycling - happy memories of him - mostly unprintable!! and times at Slapton, also thrilled to have found a contact with his son, can't wait to get in touch with him.
