I think you know my dad, Cliff Elliott?
Your name is certainly familiar to me.
Dad told my husband today that his sax teacher was Ossie. I have to admit that it meant nothing to me, but some research took me to the Houghton Heritage Society.
By coincidence (or maybe not), my dad taught at Houghton Grammar for 30 years.
Can you, or anyone else who is still around, identify this band and the musicians? My dad is third from the right in the picture? Susan Elliott

Well Susan, this is a blast from the past! It must be nigh on 50 years since I saw your dad.
I sometimes played in his band - John Kell on bass, a pianist, the late Dave Whitaker who went on to become an actor heavily involved with Live Theatre, as well as drummer Keith ?
When our own bands were doubly booked we would pass the gigs on to each other.
However, this was long after the photo so unfortunately, I can't help with the names. Hopefully, someone can. Kindest regards to Cliff, he was the life and soul of any party.
