The Last of the Summer Jazz @ The Jazz Café

Tonight’s Jazz Café gig is the last one of the summer. And what a way to go out! The duo of Dean Stockdale and Noel Dennis first met at the Pink Lane venue, chose a few tunes to play and it worked. As they say: That’s jazz!
Pianist Stockdale and trumpet and flugelhorn maestro Dennis come from the same part of the world, yet it took a chance booking in Newcastle to bring about an instant partnership that promises to be a long term collaboration. The Teessiders share a love of classic jazz. GASbook, Miles’ legacy, they know the material inside out, and will improvise upon it as only the best can do.
