Back in the '80s Slim gave a memorable concert at the Corner House. Singing, playing guitar and piano; for the latter instrument he hit the keys with the knuckle side of his amazingly long fingers. For the past eighteen years we've been updating the world about jazz in the north east of England and updating the north east of England about jazz in the world. I was at that Slim Gaillard concert in the 80's at the Corner HOuse; in fact, I did the P.A. sound, and in fact have a good recollection of the gig! Lance see Dave next Wednesday @ Chilli gig to learn more!
