As WNYC's astute, empathic, Paul Cavalconte just said on his Sunday show after playing this title track of my CD (pictured), it's a hundred and one million miracles that Bryant Park is able to continue it's Jazz Piano Series this summer! (100 & 2 million miracles that Boots Malleson and I created & executed this arrangement for that CD!)
I"ll be playing solo at the green & gold piano (socially distanced & masked) on Monday July 13, Tuesday July 14, Thursday July 16 from 12:30 - 2:30pm (EST).
My first and and only live appearance since the Pandemic!
There's care been taken to distance us all and make folks comfortable as well as safe. West coast songbird Melissa Collard's hand-sewn masks (see "mask pizza" photo) to blend in with Bryant Park.
The piano is (usually) in Upper Terrace just behind NY Public Library closer to 42nd and Fifth Avenue. Bring your own beverage/food or get from kiosks there or just walk through and wave. T'would be lovely to see you. Keep well and safe!
