Just to let you know that Marion Williams, former singer with the Dankworth 7 and Oscar Rabin Band (among many others in the 50's) died in February, 2014.

Sorry to hear this - I remember Marian as the singer who preceded Cleo with Dankworth and who broadcast many times with Rabin on the old BBC Light Program. I seem to recall seeing her at Newcastle City Hall with one of the big bands although, several light years on, I can't for the life of me think who! May have been Parnell although I think his Marian was Davis. Love to hear more about Marian's later life. Googling only brought up the gospel singer of the same name.
yes Marion Davis is the one I was thinking of, didn't she have twin boys who went into showbiz, and I think she married an Impresario
