It's just over a year since my nephew Sav died tragically at the age of 42 ; some of you will have known him or heard me talk about his fantastic musicianship on guitar and latterly on drums. I was just listening to him playing guitar on this haunting piece he wrote some years ago for his duo, Passion Dance, (with Robin Jones) and thought some of you might like to hear it - think of it as a sort of 5 minute meditation on the chance nature of existence - or not!

Hi George what a tragedy. I used to meet up with Savash a lot when he was in Paris - I live in Paris. We lost contact when he moved back to London. I met up with him a couple of times when I came to London. Last I heard of him was when he had an operation to put a stent. George do you mind getting in touch with me? I met him in the London School of Samba in 2001.
