Mike has gone, and now Eric .... but before the WJRK's Eric was a regular on the NE jazz scene, since his 20's. Others memories go way back and for much longer than mine, comparative newcomer on the scene!Pattinoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2890708154880054256.post-16798654916817001932013-10-14T21:43:49.156+01:002013-10-14T21:43:49.156+01:00Sad.Sad.Jude (on f/b)noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2890708154880054256.post-46419966909771158272013-10-14T18:26:57.461+01:002013-10-14T18:26:57.461+01:00Sad news. That weekly session lasted about seven years and for much of it Eric played clarinet. With Clem tpt/vcls, Ronnie Mclean tbn, Chas Coles dms, Johnny Duncan bass. The jazz was in a small cellar type room downstairs, ideal for jazz and always a great atmosphere. Happy times and good memories.<Rolynoreply@blogger.com
