Take The Ale Train

Over the past few years, on my trips to the UK, I've played on the Newcastle to Carlisle Jazz/Real Ale Train, with Brian Bennetts Vieux Carré Jazzmen, it has just celebrated 175 years of the line being open, and has some views of the most beautiful country side in the UK. John Gillot who is interviewed here is the man behind the idea for the Jazz/Real Ale Train, hopefully it will be back on next year, 2014.
