Just Me and My Radio/TV

Another night full of goodies courtesy of the BBC albeit most of them are well worn repeats but gift horses and all that..
On BBC 4 TV . at 19:30, we have the second in the Walk on By series. This one examines the influence of Louis Armstrong on popular singing.
At 20:20 there is a Tribute to Nina Simone. 21:05 Legends: Ella Fitzgerald then 22:05 a program about Rodgers and Hart.
It is left to Radio 2 to provide something both new and live.
19:00 Jamie Cullum interviews Ramsey Lewis then there is a live set by Polar Bear.
